Osteopath since 2009, I graduated in France from the European College of Osteopathy.
I have always been fascinated by how the body works and osteopathy allows me to explore that passion every day.
My focus is on finding the root cause of your discomfort, not just treating the symptoms.
I welcome patients of all ages and activity levels (from newborns to seniors, athletes to office workers).
I am particularly interested in supporting babies and women during pregnancy and postpartum, an area where I have pursued regular postgraduate training.
I also enjoy helping people recover from concussion and whiplash.
My treatments are gentle and tailored to everyone.
I use a wide range of techniques including mobilizations, fascial release, visceral, cranial osteopathy, and manipulations when appropriate.
My partner and I moved to New Plymouth about 10 years ago for a better lifestyle and we've since welcomed two children into our lives.
Outside of the clinic and family time I enjoy being outdoors surfing, hiking, rock climbing, practicing yoga, Pilates, and relaxing in my garden.
Why Holistic Osteopath?
Osteopathy is a holistic medicine and I wanted to emphasise the importance of that main principle of osteopathy in my clinic.
Seeing the body as a whole, as an interconnected unit where the treatment will be focused on the dysfunctions, the restrictions and the tensions found in your body.
It is also looking at your mental health, your diet, and your social well-being.
This approach will give long lasting results as I am treating the roots of the problems and not the consequences of it.
